Frequently asked questions
Who can use Daily?
Daily is for people aged 13 or older, subject to higher minimum ages and parent or guardian permission where required by local law.
Who can see my photos?
Members of your group. The owner approves new members. People can still save or screenshot what you share.
How do I join a group?
Ask a member for the group’s six-character invite code, enter it in Daily, and wait for the group owner to approve your request. You can belong to one group at a time.
Why can’t I see today’s photos?
Post your own moment first to reveal today’s photos from the group. Earlier days remain visible. If the group’s free month or paid coverage has ended, new moments and posting pause until someone subscribes.
Why didn’t I get a notification?
Check that notifications are enabled for Daily in your iPhone’s Settings. Focus modes and your device’s notification settings can affect delivery. Daily chooses a shared moment during the group’s daytime hours.
Subscriptions
Your group’s first 30 days are free. One member can subscribe to cover the whole group. See the app for current plans and prices.
You won’t be charged unless you choose to subscribe. Payment starts when you purchase, and subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple.
Cancel or manage a subscription
On the paying member’s iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Daily. Cancellation stops the next renewal; group coverage normally continues to the end of the paid period. Leaving a group, deleting an account, or uninstalling Daily does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Apple’s cancellation instructions
Restore a purchase
Use Restore Purchases on Daily’s subscription screen while signed into the Apple account that made the purchase. The subscription covers the group it was purchased for. If you changed groups or the coverage looks wrong, contact us before purchasing again.
Request a refund
Apple handles payment and refund requests for App Store purchases. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com. Eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law.
Delete your account
In Daily, tap the person icon → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. You can also do this before joining a group or while waiting for approval. This starts deletion of your Daily account and associated posts, photos, comments, and reactions. Group ownership may pass to another member. Copies another person saved outside Daily are outside our control.
If you cannot sign in, email support with the subject “Daily account deletion.” We’ll need to verify that the account belongs to you. If you pay for a group, cancel your Apple subscription separately to stop future renewals.
Report a problem with content
In Daily, tap the person icon, press and hold the member’s name, and choose Report. Select the reason for your report. Reports go to Daily, not to your group. We review reports and remove content that violates our rules; accounts may be suspended or terminated.
Choose Block in the same menu to hide that member’s photos, comments, and reactions from your view and stop notifications from them. They won’t be notified. Blocking does not remove them from the group or prevent them from seeing your posts. The group owner can choose Remove from group in the same menu.
You can also email support about a safety concern. For copyright complaints, follow the copyright complaint instructions. Include enough information for us to locate the issue, without forwarding sensitive material unnecessarily. See our acceptable-use rules and privacy policy.
